In the interview he clearly said it was 2008. She then asked Calvin on Twitter if he thought she couldn't produce cuz she was a woman, as if she co-produced everything back then.

Damn! About 10 people are gunning for bans I see... Anyway, people do use Lady Gaga's name for promotion. Madonna did, Die Antwood did, and Calvin Harris did. They all had new material dropping at the time they name-dropped her. She's just defending herself on Twitter (like Rihanna does) because the press won't be there to ask her about the situation, they'll only be there for the people who mentioned her (exactly the same as Rihanna when she went in on Ciara, Joan Rivers, Piers Morgan, etc. They were all on shows talking so she had to use her public platform to reach others and to share her view/side).

Calvin is very class and he always apologizes when he comes off as rude to other people - he apologized to Katy Perry, he apologized to Chris Brown, etc. The fact is that he did use Lady Gaga's name for publicity though.
