I think what this DOES prove is that Dance in the Dark wouldn't have done that well. It was released as a single in Australia anyway, and it didn't do well. And also Marry the Night, which sounds practically the same, isn't liked by the public either. It just seems to be something that primarily her core fanbase like for some reason.

But the truth is, a lot of my favourite artists are on Interscope. I'd love them to stop spending ALL their money on Lady Gaga and divide the money more equally between all their artists, like they did pre-2009. We'd get so many new pop stars getting into the charts, and a lot of old ones being able to return. It would be quite exciting I think.

She should've taken the evolution a bit slower though. It feels like we've gone through an entire career's worth of reinventions and ideas... and it's only been 3 years.

I think she can "come back" though. Rih did it after Rated R, and people had written her off completely at that point, so i think anything's possible.Not to mention, she's in a much better place than Rih was, at the time.

I agree, people are making it seem like Gaga has totally FLOPPED HARD this era and she hasn't. I think the change from TF/TFM to BTW was just too drastic. I Love everything she stands for, but I wished she would just ease up a bit. She 's intelligent, so I'm sure she's capable of putting HER messages into more commercial songs, but still don't forget about 'Gaga'.
