"Single Ladies" had the benefit of the rise of YouTube, VEVO and everything digital. "Rhythm Nation" was an MTV, BET and Vh1 staple and was certainly one of the music videos to define dance music videos that we favor today.

Not to mention people STILL use bits and pieces from the choreography of that video and use it in their performances. The video was ahead o its time. Wasn't Beyonce inspired but that very same video when she did Ring The Alarm at the VMAs. Whenever a female artist do any choreograph thats military themed or that intricate Rhythm nation is the first thing that comes to mind.
