Yes. I believe she said in a UK interview back in 2004 that her daughter LOVES Beyonce. And there was no negative connotation. There's also a video of them hugging at Oprah's finale. I think she's totally fine with her. I'll try to dig them up.
I'd say 75% are chill, and don't care about other stanbases because they're confident in their Queen's work. These are mainly the people who ACTUALLY grew up with Madonna, or tend to gravitate towards her 90s work.
The other 25% are annoying assholes who have to ****ing **** a brick anytime someone DARES to give an artist who isn't Madonna high praise. They usually just discovered Madonna last Thursday and feel the need to over-compensate.
Madonna stayed away from the US during the Bush period. She spent the last 10 years living in the UK and touring all over the world.
So? Beyoncé is not a local bitch and is knows outside the US. If Madonna had the opportunity to praise Britney and GAGA who is recent, sure she had the occasion to talk about Beyoncé
