"Four consecutive" is not even a record worth mentioning being that lots and lots of people have done that already. You don't have to be a genius to figure out the obvious.
Or I could be wrong.

In other words, HDD is saying she's officially in the same category as Britney Spears.

Yes! I was praying to the Lord that Rihanna would debut with over 300k first week and that Nicki Minaj (my other fav) would debut with over 400k, and neither of those things happened, so I was very disappointed. Now, 7 months later, they've both hit 1.4 million. Even Pink Friday, which debuted with twice the first week sales as Loud, has sold the same.

Tbh, I'm still waiting for that Rihanna album to sell big first week and debut at #1 in the US, but if it didn't happen with Loud, I don't think Rihanna can top that.

In Beyonce's case it IS important. Albums like Loud, The Fame, etc can debut with 'low sales' but still sell over time because they have many potential singles. How many on there on 4?
None.

LOL, The Rihanna fans should be the last to talk about this. LOUD barely crossed 200k and it was the 4th Quarter and she had a hit single. One could only wonder what it would of done if it was leaked 3 weeks prior and had no hit single and released around this time.

I'm disappointed with the predicted sales as I'd love for her to reach 300k. However, she has done extremely well considering she hasn't had a hit single in the US yet.
I can't believe some people are saying that she's had loads of promo for the album in the US, when she clearly hasn't. American Idol, Oprah and the Billboard Awards were ages ago. They helped salvage what was left of 'Run The World', although hopefully American Idol pulled in a few pre-orders.
There's no point mentioning her promotion from outside the US in respects to HDD numbers as well. Her sales outside of the US seem very good thank goodness though. Britney fans can complain about her lack of promotion, but had she had a massive performance like Beyoncé in Europe it wouldn't have had the same impact as people want a great live performance. Yes, she had BET this week, but that was only a broadcast from Glastonbury at the end of the show. Plus Piers Morgan doesn't get very many viewers anymore, so she's had very little US promo in the run up to the album's release.
Thankfully the album should have some legs, especially with upcoming singles taking off, however I do expect a big second week drop.

Exactly, I can't even believe that people act like it is hypocritical to say this. Her lead single didn't even peaked in the top 20, it didn't even scan 70K the first week.

I'm kind of hoping she never has a #1 album. Just so people that dislike her always have something to make them feel better compared to all of her other successes.

End of Time would smash and there are always other options like re-releases.

Still sold better than your fave despite not having 2 hits and not releasing during the holidays. And you don't see in the future so you don't know if songs will become hits or not.
I mean the nerve!

Even given those circumstances, it still would've hit singles to rely on to keep the album selling. Let's see where 4 is, 31 weeks from now.
