I'm sorry, but people aren't buying his music over one performance. He's making good tracks again and they're supporting it. If it is the case, its working better than others who have tried to play sympathy.

Obviously supporting artists are a factor, plenty of recent examples. I'd say Lil Wayne is the extra appeal here, but its still a Chris song and a good one at that.
