I get my grades from this term on Monday, and I'm terrified. If I don't pull off at least a 3.5 in the whole term, I can't move on to the interning portion. And these classes are only offered every fall.
If I passed, I get to intern for six months and then I'll have my master's degree. So there's a ton of pressure. I took nine classes when a regular load is three. :/
Sorry, just had to get that little rant out.

Thanks, I actually do feel a little better. It's the waiting that kills me.
There's only one class I'm worried about, which had a lab portion that I slacked off in. I hate lab.

Dissection, which I totally fail at. Absolutely no hand-eye coordination for me.

next semester i'm taking foundations of music (will be a breeze ), intermediate accounting, asian cinema, entrepreneurship, and a class on mythological studies
I'm a double major in Business (hope to be an accountant) and Music
I also try to take as many art/english classes as possible because it's my third favorite field/topic.
I've played saxophone since I was in 4th grade and piano since I was about eight. I also play a little guitar (I love music...)

I love the saxophone. Good mix of subjects too. What is European Culture like as a class?
Mythological studies sounds interesting.

Dissection? Are you pre-med or doing some form of biological degree?

It's a specially designed major. Research writing in the human DNA field. I take mostly tech writing courses, but there's a couple anatomy related courses I need.

Oh yeah, I remember talking about that before.
What are you hoping to do job wise when you finish?

I got offered a teaching job at my undergrad school in the biology department. I'm thinking about taking that as a start. Not sure where I wanna go longterm with this, to be honest. Just know DNA and report-writing are my passions.

Ah cool, everyone has to start somewhere so you should take what you can get until a position you would love comes up.
What age of kids will that be? (I'm not great at the american system)

Exactly. Times are tough, so if I'm offered something I'll probably take it. I'll be 22 when I graduate, so this is pretty cool for a beginning.
And undergrad here is 18-22 in most cases. It may be weird having students that are my age.

Yeah the sax is great
The Euro class is pretty decent. Over the semester we read Homer's The Illiad and The Odyssey, Virgil's The Aeneid, Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Dosteovsky's Notes From the Underground.
We also covered art and studied ancient structures and their influence on several ages of European sculptures and sculptors. We studied Donatello, Michelangelo, Bernini, Jaques-Louis David and Carvaggio (we studied others but not with as much depth).
We also covered the eras and their respective "themes" (Romanticism, Neo Classicism, Heroicism etc...)
And yeah, I can't wait for the Mythological studies class

Mythological studies? What subject is that in? I took an English course in myth studies and had a blast. It was amazing to study.

It's a subject in classical literature. It will probably be more of an english class than a history class...which just makes me want to take it any more because I live for this kind of stuff. I love the classes that require a lot of reading (I acknowledge that I'm a freak), but I especially love it when the reading is an actual story and not a text book...I often find myself reading text books as an actual story just to keep me entertained while studying

I'm still studying Accounting, and will obviously study it for 2 more years
This semester I'm taking up:
Advanced Accounting Part 1, 2and 3 (Parts 1 and 2 are hell hard!)
Financial Management Part 2 (I barely passed Part 1, this one is such a pain in my butt. My prof is killing me!)
Law on Obligations and Contracts (My favorite. I guess I'll go to law school someday.)
Production Management (Very easy. The only minor subject I take this sem. I almost don't recognize this because it's so easy.)
I only have those 6 subjects which are 24 units. And our preliminary exams are tomorrow! I'm still on ATRL

lol nicee
Seriously though, my friends give me the weirdest looks when I study with them because of the way I review my text book. I made a full fledged story about how Rihanna was clothing producer and distributor, and how Drake wanted a special order of jackets and shirts from her for his upcoming tour. I used this story to explain to them how Rihanna would go about deciding whether or not she should take the order, and what cost approach she would take to reach this ultimatum...yeah, I get that into it
