Gonna start (and finish) judging right now, then I'll post hints! I've already skimmed the entries and my general sentiment is this: I personally was looking for trippy music, and tried to make that clear in the challenge's description. Some of you seemed to be working around the challenge rather than working with it. It's the people that really owned it who will be topping my rankings.

I'm so happy to be the middle of the pack. It's an improvement from bottom of the barrel.

This round, I found it hard to define trippy I think I put tons of emphasis on the story to distract from the fact that I don't know what trippy exactly means.
Okay, I finished judging. Overall I liked most of the entries and thought the majority fit in with the idea of trippiness both in terms of the songs themselves and the presentations surrounding them.
1. -9e^(i*π)
2. ∑ from k=1 to ∞ of 1/(2k)
3. 2(ϕ^2+1+ϕ^−2)
4. In the case that n is divisible by this particular number x, you can flip the order of n's digits to yield a multiple of x.
5. |(e^(2i*π))*((-1)^98)*((-343)^(1/3))|
6. This number is the gamma factor for typical human speeds.
7. -(4!)(cos(π))/(2!)
8. Solve for x! [(x^2)-20x+(23/3)]'-√576+4!=0
9. lim as x→π/4 of sec(x)/sin(x)
10. Find the first derivative of f(x)=3x^4-4x^3+x^2+x+5 when x=1
11. 3*5+1*2-6/3-21/3+2*i^2
12. I'm out of hints... 2.5+2.5=?

okay I had to do some special favours for the judges to solve the hints and get the numbers, but hopefully you guys can figure out what they mean (and also solve hints 2 and 3)
