QOTC was SO good when it came to hooks. She just has her own way of writing that is so magical that literally every song becomes addictive after a few listens. Influence DEFINETLY does that for me but Cool Girl is boring in that sense and I'm not sure if, based on the snippets, the rest of the album will capture that magic that QOTC gave me. I'm so scared that I won't like this as much as I want to
True Disaster has what I'm talking about and Lady Wood (song) sounds good too. On first listen the rest just sound bland to me. Hopefully after repeated listens the rest of the hooks start coming through.
