Actually it should have been the first. I am not a fan of the redone Reach Out. They changed some of the lyrics, added that rent-a-rapper, and just didn't make the song pop like it should have been. Holiday had such an R&B feel to it and it was different from Hilary, it had a fresh sound for a Ryan Tedder produced song and I would have loved to see a video for it.
Hilary needs to do some R&B songs for the next album.

I think I disagree with you, Italy is where Hilary has more fans  , not for nothing that almost all of their singles with top 10, and Mexico has the 2nd place and that their concerts are always packed here and her videos always were number 1. and Brazil has the 3rd place, although Venezuela also ties to Brazil :O

Actually you are correct. I run a fan Twitter for Hilary and I was simply judging my post on her fans based on that. The Brazil fans are always doing something to support Hilary that it appears sometimes that she has the best fans there BUT her discography in Italy is pretty much all Top 10 expect for Fly. She needs to get a #1 album in Italy during the next era. So laughable that people on here call Hilary local when her music does a lot better outside of the US than in the US, chartwise.

Holiday > Reach Out. Holiday should have been a single. I think it would have been a cute summer song.

At this point, I would be happy with a platinum album and Top 20 hit for Hilary to be honest. Of course, I would like for the album to sell over 1M copies but just to be real that would be good in my mind right now. I still think she needs to go on a small promo tour before she signs any deal to get her name back out there and see what the fans want from her musically. But, Hilary needs to score that 3rd #1 album here in the US and the 4th one in Canada, I was so mad when Dignity missed the #1 spot.

So happy to see that the book is a best seller in the Philippines, Hilary has a wonderful fanbase there and they are very supportive of all of her projects, even though they mostly have to wait awhile before they come out there. This is a huge candid post along with some news (there were death rumors going out about Hilary yesterday, needless to say those were not true) and we finally have the FIRST date for the 'Devoted' book tour. I will post the dates in here so everyone is aware of them!

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Hilary Duff is not dead, but is the victim du jour of the latest fake celebrity death report. Today’s false report is fuming Hilary Duff fans, with nearly fifty comments on Twitter in the last few minutes asking if the singer actor died Sunday. Duff is the victim of the same website that falsely reported Adam Sandler dead and other celebrities this month.
Fans reacted in anger today to the fake report, many unsure of its origin. “If Hilary Duff actually was dead I’d genuinely be gutted” wrote one fan. One even referred Duff in the past tense. “She was my idol”. By midday Sunday on Twitter, the anger took pace.
One fan wrote “Someone tell me this isn’t true”. Hilary Duff is the victim of the infamous website that has been falsely reporting celebrity deaths, Global Associated, for years. The website, which shares unique thematic elements from a leading recognizable website, makes itself appear as reporting a breaking story. With the addition of red capital letters, its story exclaims to the anxious Duff fan “this story is still development.” It’s not developing, it just fabricating.
The content of the death report was not authored today, but uses automation and coding to modify the date and time to a user’s unique visit. The story draws from a handful of possible permutations. The fake celebrity death reports usually concern a fall, a crash, or some catastrophic, large than life, fatal event. The location is one of a handful of spots, some that actually don’t even exist. In the case of Hilary Duff, the allegation is that she fell on the Kauri Cliffs. That’s the same location the website used to kill off Christian Slater in February.
Sometimes fans eventually figure out the stories are fake. In many cases, however, that revelation can take hours. Other times, the celebrities even issue news statements from their publicists exclaiming they are alive. In February, after being falsely reported as dead, Slater’s publicist confirmed to the New York Daily News that his client was alive.
Duff last year married Mike Comrie. The two met when she was 19. He told Hockey Night in Canada at the time “We were all on the same plane and it was kind of, I guess, maybe a bit of a fluke.” He added “She calls it ironic. No I’m kidding!. It [was] one of those things where we were all in a group … we spent the weekend all hanging out.”

And I have asked if Devoted will come sooner in Philippines than when Elixir came, and they said it will be out November because of the outstanding sales of Elixir! Hilary Duff is very well appreciated here! I actually showed the book to my friends and classmates, and they're very intrigued with it and I have persuaded two of them to buy the book too!
