That gave me a better connection cus I know exactly what she's talking about. I get the same thing with my first love, even though I know I'm 'over him' (compared to how I was in the beginning of the "breakup" if you want to call it that). But that moment I see him in person ... it's like the feelings of being in love from back then are still there without actually being in love. But I have it easier cus I don't have to see him being put in my face in every aspect of my life unlike the media has for Rih. It only adds to the difficulty of getting over them.

I can concur.
I've never been in love but....I've been in like close relationships with guys, almost love.
When I see those people, my stomach does drop, and I get pennies stuck in my throat lol But I just try to let it go, because I can't let it overweigh me or my life.

It makes me feel like rihanna is never gonna get over that fool. and it IS possible you can get over your true love.
Like, is she gonna be miserable forever? I can't take this.

This. At this point, 2+ years later she cares for a man who stained both their careers and brought her physical harm and she still can't move on from him. She's a young girl and a sweet girl, but she needs to reevaluate these sort of things. And the "I'm not a rolemodel"-is such a cop-out. Anyone in that position of fame is a role model whether they like it or not. That's not to say she should change anything, but to deny that her incredible visibility impacts lives is irresponsible and short-sighted of her.
Let me be clear, I consider myself Navy and I own all her CDs and enjoy her music and saw her on the LOUD tour, and this is my opinion. It seems this interview just confirmed that she's still a very young girl with the world at her fingertips, and still has a long way to go before reaching maturity.

She was never ever going to be able to move on with her life until she let go of the anger and forgave...which is what she has done..which is why she is happy now.
But it's okay if you'd rather her just be miserable for forever I guess...

Honey, you are too serious.
Lighten up, you look like marcmonster in your profile pic, no need to act like him

This was Rihanna's most vulnerable interview. Only makes her more relatable.
P.S. I would totally love seeing WAWL being a fall/winter time single.

I think if she matures, she'll be able to let him go.

On a serious note, Rihanna just needs to let go, and I know thats easier said then done, but it needs to happen.

At the end of the day, we can judge, we can label, we can even get mad, but we weren't in the car on that night of the incident. We weren't with Rihanna and Chris every single step of their relationship. We literally have NO idea as to how they really loved each other, or how much they hated each other. We're only basing our judgement off what we've been told. That's selfish of us. I applaud Rihanna, she's really showing how to be the better person. She gave us emotion, heart, yet she still showed how she's ready to finally move on. You truly can't move on from any situation until it's been properly addressed.

With all the information we've gotten, it's almost like we were though.
But I know what you're saying.
