The first to leave after this longass break is a Beach Boys song! Oh noes. I quite liked it and it's jolly vibe. The harmonies mixed with some of the best Phil Specter imitations I've heard give it a timeless quality.

I gave this an 8, but I really shouldn't have. I sorta enjoy the British high court sound (with the bugels and harpsichord throughout) but honestly the melody is a bit dull and the song as a whole is very.... frumpy.

I would have given this one an 8 had I done my scores now! It has that gritty dive bar in the 70s sound that they were going for. This one got a lot more 6/7 scores than before but also more 10s than the usual song in the 40s.

"Clampdown" is a standout on London Calling! I thought it would be a lot higher than it ended up, but maybe people weren't here for the more stacatto singing style that it offered.
