Ryan Murphy Confirms Theme of AHS: Season 6



Ryan Murphy, creator of the infamous "American Horror Story" anthology series, recently took to Twitter to announce the theme for the highly anticipated sixth season of the show. "This next season is going to be centered around werewolves," he writes, "It is going to be called American Horror Story: Lycanthropy." He concludes by stating, "This is one of my favorite seasons yet. I recruited some amazingly talented names for the cast. I can't wait to share more info with you."

First Cast-Members of "AHS: Lycanthropy" Revealed



The sixth installment of the "American Horror Story" series, "Lycanthropy", was confirmed just moments ago, and multiple actors have already come forward to say that they will be joining the cast. Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Sky Ferreira (The Green Inferno), Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Denis O'Hare (American Horror Story, Dallas Buyers Club) were thrilled to announce that they will be on "Lycanthrophy."

The actors have revealed information about their characters as well. Sky Ferreira says on Instagram, "I've always been a fan [of AHS] and joining it means so much. My character is named Amber and I guess she's kind of like this weird gothic chick... She's really into werewolves. I can't give away too much." Michelle Trachtenberg took to Facebook to make the big announcement, stating, "The rumors are true! I will be on American Horror Story: Lycanthropy. When Ryan Murphy contacted me, my jaw dropped. My character is this seductive werewolf named Skye Foster, and she has a huge part on the show. I cannot wait to share her with you guys."

Quinto and O'Hare have kept fairly silent about their involvement with the show, although insiders confirm that Quinto plays one of the biggest roles on the show.

3 Newbies Joining "AHS: Lycanthropy"



Three new cast-members of "American Horror Story: Lycanthropy" were revealed when pictures from Day 1 of filming in Los Angeles were leaked. Eliza Dushku (Bring It On), Nick Jonas (Scream Queens), and Bella Thorne (The DUFF), all newbies to the franchise, are reportedly playing lead roles this season. Sources claim to have seen Thorne and Jonas shooting a scene in a neighborhood near Torrance High School, while Dushku was spotted filming a conversation scene with Zachary Quinto and another male actor whose identity is yet to be revealed. They have not commented on the rumors yet.

Fan Favorites Returning to "American Horror Story"




Fans were going crazy on Twitter this afternoon when Ryan Murphy announced that Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Sarah Paulson will be coming back to "American Horror Story" for "Lycanthropy." The trio are no strangers to the show, and they seem ecstatic to be back.

"This season is going to be killer, and I'm not just saying that because I'm kinda like one of the main characters this season. I can promise you, Ryan [Murphy] will not disappoint this time around." Peters tells E! News.

Rabe and Paulson recently posted a Snapchat story of them dancing around set.

Series Regulars for "Suburbia" Rounded Out, Another Fan Favorite Returns

The final main cast members of American Horror Story's upcoming 6th season have been confirmed: Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix) and Mel Gibson (Lethal Weapon). Alongside them, the final three recurring cast members have been solidified as well: AHS alum Frances Conroy, Griffin Cluck (Just Go With It), and Bradley Steven Perry (Good Luck Charlie). This completes the cast that will be making up the majority of the season set in 1953 Alabama. Ryan Murphy has also said this: "In the main cast of 8 people, there are 4 couples... that's the dynamic of the season. It's all set around this very normal suburban life, at least to start, so it's all based around the American archetypes for families and all. It's very cool. I love the style in the season."
