Lviv looks so pretty but seriously if they can put a roof on the Olympic Stadium in Kiev than that'll be iconic tbh, but at the same time it could feel too big for Eurovision? Eurovision always feels quite intimate with the 8000-16000 audiences tbh.

I agree! I really would love to see some out there entries like Ukraine did a while back.

And I absolutely loved the voting this year. I was jumping up and down the entire last 5 minutes in excitement.

I'm actually kind of hoping for the opposite, I loved how there were very few (if any) weird acts. I'm hoping that Queen Jamala's win will usher in more quality pop songs instead of generic/eccentric stuff. Even though it is Eurovision, and that's what it's known for

Nah, Margaret is a charisma vacuum and has no stage presence, she's a manufactured product, everyone can get her songs.

Agreed. If you're going to be messy, go for a bop like Dancing Lasha Tumbai and an iconic look like Verka Serduchka. Otherwise don't embarrass your country.

It would ruin the Contest's reputation entirely (well its reputation is trash in the UK anyway but elsewhere) if there was loads of eccentric acts, so I don't mind a year off from them. But I need my Alcohol is Free's.

There has been a lack of camp in the last couple of years as well. Iceland's No Prejudice in 2014 slayed.

Did you guys all prefer this year?
