I really dont know the exact number...

But when I asked that people told me it peaked at 135 millions (which is just less than 0,5 millions apart from rude boy)

But also... some other people said that Umbrella's peak was 144 millions....

I think that Umbrella did have more of an OVERALL impact upon her image, just like Poker Face did for GaGa. But the thing is is that they are really completely different songs...and they also had different chart runs. If you're looking solely at the US, you can see that GaGa has a HUGE advantage over RiRi for this case. (Obviously digital sales were not as prevalent back then).

What I really, and I mean SERIOUSLY can NOT understand is how GaGa managed to sell SO MANY COPIES of Poker Face without being at Number one for more than a single week. She was at number two during Right Round and Boom Boom Pow, right?

Yes, when Right Round was #1 Poker Face was barely climbing, it peaked during the BBP reign and then fell off once LoveGame started to take over.

I don't see the logic. 'Poker Face' was selling like crazy, but she was #2 because BEP/Flo Rida were selling more.

disturbia sold more than umbrella in the US but it didnt make an impact like umbrella.

single ladies was only huge because of the choreography and it didnt even go to number one in many countries like the UK and Canada.

I see SL's choreo as iconic, not the song. It impacted differently compared to PF, and Umbrella is the epitome of iconic. I thought it was obvious and not worth mentioning but some stans just don't get it.
