If fun. reaches the #01 spot on the ATRL Hot 100 they will make history, because they would be the first band, the first men, to get the top spot since the creation of the tally the past December.
fun. has gained a lot of acceptation on the ATRL Personal/Request countdowns, getting into the Top Ten of more than half of them; they have the #01 Billboard bonus and a great popularity over the forum.
While they get the #07 spot over Airplay Songs with around 2311 ATRLers listening to that song this week, they can manage to take the highest position and dethrone Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", whose has been at #01 during 7 non-consecutive weeks.
Kelly Clarkson has the record of more weeks at #01 by now, with 7, if she manages to take again the Top spot she'll extend her record to 8 weeks, (she already dethrone Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" which spent 3 consecutive weeks atop).
