I can see why they would do it though. I think that when artists drop albums like this (even when it is done in a way that forces you to buy the whole album basically), suppliers become rightfully worried that physical copies will just fade away. I think Target has always taken pride in being able to offer albums at the same time as iTunes and in many cases with exclusive tracks. I think this is less about them being mad at Bey for not giving them bonus tracks, but more about her undermining physical cd sales with a digital only release. Also until Wal-mart stops censoring their cd's they will never be on Target's level.

Target makes some of its desicions on other prinsiples, not just strict business (translation: someone in the corridors of power at the company is really pressed by Beyonce)
