Of course it's up to your own pick and interpretation. But I really don't think alternative rock is too specific at all? If anything, it's just as "specific" as dance-pop. So you think the theme should've been "rock"? That would be wayyyyyyyyy to broad. Besides, I don't want to make it too broad, let's say one sends in indie rock and another sends in alternative rock, then voters who hate indie rock would be biased against it. So I wanted to make sure all songs are squarely on the same genre.
She had to resend cos she kept picking the more popular songs (and also sent in a totally ineligible one).
