Sorry but mentioning black lives matter is not racist at all.
So you want Beyoncé to make a song saying “Let’s fight for human rights of anyone who suffers from injustice, get in formation babies!” It just doesn’t make logistical sense. Singing broadly about peace and love stops right there. It doesn’t make you examine the issue, perceive why there is a problem, etc.
Teaching and helping people to become more socially aware about a specific oppressed group will only make them more attuned to identifying it in others. The message has much more power when it’s pointed at something.
Example:
“I love my negro nose with Jackson 5 nostrils” puts forth the idea of accepting what society says is not beautiful way better than “I love myself for who I am”
