No it doesn't. The more I think about it, the more I like this strategy. It basically tides everyone over and more or less prevents a full leak from happening. When the time is right, they'll strike. I'm sure of it. You've already read that the label is fully behind this. So this is a good strategy, imo.
Given that Katy has had a #1 in every single year since 2010, and is not releasing this year, would a full label push of this song perhaps be intended to have that 2015 #1? Do you guys think they care much about this?
