Wait, I love this I didn't like the snippet, but the full song is definitely great.
I don't know how I feel about her breaking her vocals like that at points, I guess I'll get used to it.
I wish this song was less monotonic, I mean, the chrous only has two words.
All my favs recently release very monotonic songs (on my mind), which are great but I can't listen to too much.
Jesse Shatkin produced it, according to the press release.
You have a link.. Nevermind:x

Written by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso, Jr. and produced by Jesse Shatkin, “Alive” has Adele’s rumbling and empowering tone marked all over it — it was intended for the UK singer, after all. On the other hand, it is textbook Sia — a soaring, drum-heavy uptempo ballad that finds her powerful vocals crackling with emotion.
“Alive” is the first taste of Sia’s forthcoming This Is Acting album via Monkey Puzzle Records/RCA Records. There is no set release date as of now, but the project is apparently complete. She told NME back in February, “I’m calling it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say.’ It’s more like play-acting. It’s fun.”
