Beyoncé owned the entire 2000s, from 2000 til 2010 while Britney only owned it until 2004, and Rih since 2007.
Let's not forget about Shakira's impressive career, though. 00s was also her decade.

hum SHAKIRA is very popular all around the globe for sure.... but between WHENEVER and HIPS DONT LIE she was too absent.
with Beyoncé I have the feeling that even the year she didn't release she had that factor that made her TOP5 at least of the most revelant artists each ****ing year and it hasnt stop as we're talking.
the endless praise and progression she shows on stage every time she tours; the fact that her songs are really becoming classics (crazy in love, say my name, independent women, single ladies...); her iconic poses, attitude and references in popular culture make her untouchable. I can bet that she'll be as popular as she is right now for the next 5 years.
I'm just curious to know what she'll do with the 2020s.... classical music period? touring back-to-back like Madonna did in the 2000s? focus on her private life? movie career? or simply still snatching wigs with Urban uptempos albums like she's doing now?
that'll be the decade when she'll be inducted (with DC and solo) Rock n Roll Hall of fame.
I kinda hope she receives Grammy Lifetime achievement award before the induction too.
