Are you talking about that article where he said "by 2016"?
If look at past eras, there was only about 7 1/2 months of a gap between Waking Up In Vegas dropping off the chart and California Gurls debuting. Only 8 months between Wide Awake and Roar. It has already been almost a year since This Is How We Do dropped off.
This gap feels so much bigger.
Although, if you look at the gaps between the end of her last tour and the debut of her next: 5 months 1 week~ between the end of Hello Katy tour and California Gurls' debut, 6 months 3 weeks between the end of California Dreams tour and Roar's Debut. If she only waits 6 months, then we will have the lead single around April/May. August will be 10 months.
I think that's a good measure of when she will "get bored" and start writing again. :idk:
And I don't believe anyone who says that she's scared of Adele. She was clearly not going to release It anyways. No hype, no media interviews, nothing. It was just a song written for H&M campaign. (The song doesn't even have a second verse
