^I'm just thinking about the commercial aspect of it all. If Sony wants to sell a lot, ofc they do, then they should release the DVD/Bluray no later than November 25, which is Friday. As a Christmas present, this would be fantastic.
Nov. 25 is also Black Friday, so go get that money, team Adele. I think the demand for this is huge.
Does Target still have that rule where it won't support a new release on Black Friday? Granted, this would be a video not an album, so the rules could be different. They'd likely be the US's #1 retailer, though.
Before the Phoenix cancellation the tour would've ended on Wednesday Nov. 15, supportive of a Friday Nov. 18 release aligning with the timing of the album's release last year.
Going by RAH, they announced the release date on October 26th and the DVD was released on November 29th (US / 27th (UK). So if they want to do the same thing again, they still have around a month to make an announcement. The end of November seems like a great time, since even her US tour would be done by then. So she'd have time to do some promo too (who am I kidding, we all know how this is going to end up...)
