I could have sworn one of the judges said they were writing quick comments?

Writing a song for the first time was the craziest thing ever because I had no idea whether it would be received well or even remotely liked or just completely trashed. But I think everyone on ATRL's listened to a lot of music and has a pretty good idea of what a well written song would sound like, so I think some level of confidence is definitely beneficial. But looking out for the judges comments is definitely a great idea. They help you so much.

Ahh, fair enough. Right now, my biggest fear is that I've been overzealous with the entry, and I'm worried that it'll turn the judges off. Personally, I
love my song! It's something that I would listen to, and genuinely enjoy - I'm just not sure if the judges will feel the same, especially after seeing the approach some of the other contestants took with this challenge. Plus, the genre I went with is something that I listen to a lot, but
never gets discussed on ATRL.
If I make it through, which I'm praying I do, It'll be quite the experience! I'm definitely going to be taking note of every bit of feedback I get and building off of it.

Thanks, I appreciate that a ton!

I just might take you up on that offer. Right now, the only person who has seen the song is my best friend, and even then, it took a lot of confidence for me to show him.
