I guess this is based on the idea that Trump supporters are more motivated than Hillary supporters. But early voting has been pretty promising for Hillary, and Latino turnout in this election is set to reach record levels. The black turnout is down, which will hurt Hillary in some states - but she also gains some support from educated white women.
Furthermore, Hillary has a much better Get Out the Vote initiative in pretty much every state, since her campaign invested money on many more field offices than the Trump campaign has. In some key swing states, his GOTV operation is nearly non-existent (Nevada).
The shy Trump supporter narrative is also faulty, since newly registered voters who had never voted in the election before or were registered but didn't vote in 2012 -
they actually break for Clinton.
That being said, I hope I didn't convince you and hope you get everyone you know to vote for Clinton!
