I never fully understood the distinction. I didn't really think of Missy as a rapper--she is not nearly as vulgar as the likes of Kim, Khia, Eve, etc. And she is a brilliant producer. But I don't know exactly what an MC is. "Microphone Controller."
That's because she isn't one and yes MC means Mic Controller meaning the ruler of the mic.
