I can't believe nintendo is marketing the pretty prototypes. Like on Amazon, the Link amiibo still shows his high quality paint job and silver pole in the back of him.

Great news sis! WFT has a new move called cold feet! If you buy her amiibo(no, you can't get it in your McDonald's Happy Meal) you can show all your friends and freeze the competition! Plus she doesn't have a chin anymore, yayy!
They probably figured halfway through it'd cost a lot of money to make each one with such quality so they chose to lower the quality and minimize the cost to maximize the profit they get from these.
But I mean, even the Disney Infinity characters look better then these
They didn't turn you into a butter-face, but a butter-everything.
