I think people need to chill on Iggy. She's clearly soft and inoffensive (ignoring those old tweets and "slavemaster" line). I can understand her frustrations being the first legitimately successful white rapper and people from every race taking punches at her. With that said, she has to grow thicker skin if she wants to have longevity and for people to respect her.

Nobody should blame Iggy. Blame T.I. for using a girl he knows can't rap to get the crossover coins. All the hip hop backlash should be on him IMO.

I think she is a legitimate fan of Hip Hop. Looking at her old tweets, you can see that. But T.I. is a so-so rapper just with hood credibility. Most of the people under his wing have so-so rapping skills, so I don't think that's the issue. A white female rapper is tough sell, even if she was good.
