Did he feel under pressure to write what people would presume was an Adele-type song? “Not at all. I just wrote exactly how I would normally. I just got on the piano and she started singing. And when she’s singing it becomes an Adele song. It was like a normal session.”

This along with what Sia said and the story behind Lay Me Down make it seem like she was really pressured to make this album. It's understandable though since it's hard to make a follow up to the monster smash that was 21. But hopefully she'll have the comfort to make the album she wanna make rather than hire whatever songwriter.

I really don't think we can truly understand the pressure she had while making this album cause like Maddox said it's not following just any album but one of the most successful albums ever.
I understand why she & the label felt the need to try out many producers writers etc & I hope she understands now that that was the main problem into making this album.
This time around i think she's gonna stick to her favorites the ones she gets on the best with and be more relaxed. Obviously there is pressure too but not like after 21.
Don't know about you but I'm excited for A4 and how it's gonna turn out.
Also can someone leak all her unreleased stuff cause I'm dying to hear them.

Can someone tell her to tone down with the banter?? it's kinda out of control everything she says turns into a headline and not a flattering one. Did she really say her voice got weaker when she stopped smoking ??

And sometimes I do wish she didn't say somethings. Her banter is great and most of the time it's fine but it's usually when she talks about rumors or celebrity news regarding herself that are sometimes better off being left alone. I like it better when there's a rumor regarding her and instead of feeding the gossip tabloids she just pays them dust.

Aside of that I kinda like the drama tbh and most of the time the media will find a way to turn it into a negative thing anyway so whatevs

And, uhm, no... Adele's unfiltered I-don't-give-a-**** and I-speak-before-I-think is what makes her who she is and it's a huge part of her personality. I honestly can't imagine her shows without her reactions to whatever event comes to her mind, it just makes her shows so much more hilarious (not that her stories aren't hilarious themselves). She may get in real trouble one day for saying something, but again, it's simply who she is.

Yeah she said she thought her voice had more character and depth before her surgery and that after her surgery it was clean & clear it took her sometime to get used to it & she said she's slowly wearing it out etc.

Now I do love the banter BUT sometimes (usually when she's nervous) let's be honest even as a fan it gets a bit much.
I mean I'm ok with stories etc she just got to filter the things that she says then media picks up and dhe goes on to saying blah I didn't mean that etc makes her look like she reads everything they write about her & is too concerned etc

And about the banter, idk if there's a point in restricting it, it's bad if she feels like she has to watch herself constantly onstage (though CC is right about the nervous thing... I just mean the stories are great and shouldn't be stressed about/touched it's actually the non-personal stuff that gets her in trouble more), and the tabloids are in the phase of making up stories out of everything regardless. The vast majority of the people in there haven't found the banter anything but funny and an enjoyable part of the show judging from the live reactions.
I guess it just makes more sense to me to let them write something negative about her caring or not caring about Brangelina than have making up something negative entirely with more weight and resulting hysteria (e.g. the stories about her quitting music, or digging into her personal life) to get their page views
