The video. My mom told me that she and my dad completely lost respect for her after that and think Madonna should have taken her to court.

She acknowledged that it could have been an homage but..

I'm a huge Madge fan myself too.

At least she didn't dig in TOO hard and acknowledged that she loved most of her Born This Way era (). We had a nice talk about who was a bigger influence to Gaga at this point, David Bowie or Madonna. We also decided Ray of Light was our favorite song by Madge.

Madonna used a lot of references in Vogue as well from photos and stuff but the Alejandro video is really very Vogue-esque



It could considered as homage if the maker of the video said it was, did someone do so?

Lemme not say anything about Katy here... I will just say I liked the costumes and witchy stage
