No.
It just means after the X number of times she performed it before the album came out made that song stick with them after all that time, and so it was the song that people were most familiar with. Since they already knew what they would be buying they were more likely to purchase it over the other songs, yeah?
That, and I refuse to allow anyone to say that's the best song on the album, lol.
It's not the worst but it is by far not the best. That song, like many other songs, suffers from "GaGa-makes-songs-too-long" syndrome. She drags certain parts to songs for some reason (A la Hair, intro to Scheisse, etc,..).
(Just so you know, I think Judas is the best song on the album (despite the jarring production, it is everything I could have hoped for in a GaGa song and more, that and I am emotionally connected to the song, making me a bit biased). Then there's Bloody Mary which for me is almost like part 2 to Judas (essentially inseparable in my heart). Then, there's Marry The Night and Scheisse. Those are the best dance tracks for me, at least. Then well, you get the idea, lmao.
However, y'know, if you think You and I is the best song, you have the right to think that. We'll just have to disagree for once.
