The looks with the big brown wig weren't "Venus".
Boticelli Babe was iconic for "Applause", but I never understood why she used it for that song when "Venus" was waiting. Although, I wouldn't have minded if she used a prettier version of the "Applause" clown make up (like
here) while wearing outfits like
this,
this, and
this. Along with the Boticelli wig it would've been flawless.
This should've been the hairstyle for the little mini-"Venus" era she had (or, if I had my way, the 2nd single would've been "Venus", so yeah.
). It's basically a cleaner version of the hairstyle she has on the "Venus" single cover. That, with her mini-"Venus" fashion (stuff like
this,
this, Graham Norton performance, etc.) would've been great too.
