I love Demi, but she's not more famous than them. George Strait is a country legend, and Vampire Weekend might be indie but their last album sold over 120k in its first week(higher than any first week total Demi's ever gotten) and they performed on SNL this past weekend.
Her fans have way too high expectations. The fact that she's compting as much as she is with them, and is on track to her best first sales week ever is a major accomplishment. .Even more impressive is the fact that her predictions were adjusted up. Usually with her her predictions get adjusted down, so there is a chance she could still sell more than they are predicting.
