Fox has got to be disappointed with the numbers they are bringing this year. While, X Factor and Terra Nova brought in decent numbers... They spent millions of dollars in advertising and they can't even bring in over 15 million viewers.
X Factor is safe but Terra Nova getting under 10 million viewers will surely be a 13 episode series and done.
It's the same question I ask everyday! CW shouldn't be a primetime network. Only 1 show on the CW roster pulls over 1.0 on the demographic and that's Vampire Diaries. Which is sad and pathetic.....
I was always wondering why such good shows like TVD and Supernatural were getting so low ratings.
With it being its final season, DH started modestly. Especially with Football and Animation Domination.
With Ahmed's seal of approval and the first episode ratings, I think I'm going to watch Panam. I just hope it's not another 'No Ordinary Family' for me. Meaning, I hope it doesn't catch my interest, then is canceled in the end.
And not everyone in the US has the CW right?
Why don't they change that? They could have much more ratings...
I think the CW is in about 96%-97% of homes while the rest of the networks at 98%-99% but it is still in all of the largest markets in america so it is unacceptable

For CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox ABSOLUTELY. However, for the CW it's not.
The CW used to get 4 million viewers when it first came on. Like i said before anything under 2 million and under a 1.0 in the demo is unacceptable for ANY major network.
How I Met Your Mother 10.500
2 Broke Girls 11.750
Two and a Half Men 20.520
Mike & Molly (Season Premiere) 13.860
Hawaii Five-0 11.260
-Comedies are all still performing very well. M&M hit a series high in the 18-49 demo. Men still is performing 6 million better than last season. Broke girls is up vs RoE last year about 3 million and HIMYM is up too!
Dancing With The Stars 16.230
Castle 11.670
-DWTS is down year to year while Castle is still holding strong
The Sing Off 4.450
The Playboy Club 3.970
-NBC wishes it's midseason already I bet
Terra Nova (Series Premiere) 9.220
-Under performed but still a very solid player that will last all 13 episodes this season.
Gossip Girl (Season Premiere) 1.370
Hart of Dixie (Series Premiere) 1.880
-The CW has dug itself into a ditch. Gossip Girl is done this season. Next weeks retention of Hart of Dixie will seal its fate.
But CW won't cancel it. Like I said earlier, all the shows besides TVD range between 0.6-0.9 on the network. With TVD pulling over 1.0. If that was the case for CW, the network would have vanished in 2008. Since, CW is NOT broadcasted throughout the US (Half of America don't own the channel) they take iTunes sales into effect (along with DVD sales, international licensing, etc). Which is why Gossip Girl continues to be renewed each season, even though ratings continue to decline. Also, the only reason Nikita was renewed this year is because they have an international following. You can check iTunes chart weekly and you will always see CW shows topping the chart! Therefore, the network will always be in last place in comparison to other primetime networks. Sorry, I know I wrote a short essay, but I just wanted to explain what I was trying to say earlier. I can pretty much guarantee you that Gossip Girl will return next season!
Mark Pedowitz is the new president of the CW and I can guarantee you he will cancel Gossip Girl at the end of this series. The numbers will fall under a million and nothing can save it when that happens. It's already at 1.3 million. It ran 4 years longer than it should have lol Also the CW reaches roughly 95% of the US market, not half. And like I said earlier, it reaches all of the major markets in the US.
