Whoa, whoa
The summer's not hot without you
(Can't wait to see ya)
Whoa, whoa
The summer won't start without you
The temperature is 99
And it can get much hotter
So come on over Romeo
And vamos a la playa
I'm on my Marquise diamonds, I'm a Marquise diamond
Could even make that Tiffany jealous, mmm
You say I give it to you hard, so bad, so bad
Make you never wanna leave, I won't, I won't
Gonna wear that dress you like, skin-tight
Do my hair up real, real nice
And syncopate my skin to how you're breathing
I just want to let you know that I just calculated your scores for this week's challenge and the numbers I'm dealing with are giving me, once again, round 2 teas. I haven't been vocal about my disappointment in this round, like I was in round 7, but the scores are even worse than they were in that round, which is shocking to me. This is the first week in PH7 so far that there are only 4 scores above 6.5. Everyone outside of the top 4 had scores that would have got them eliminated in round 2 and that is simply not cute.
This round and the storytelling round were undeniably the most demanding tasks of the game so far. But the live shows are supposed to have an advanced level of difficulty anyway. This round was a chance for you to be honest, open and spontaneous. Sadly, some of you tried so hard to not be predictable that you ended up missing the point. All of you have proven to be amazing songwriters. The next challenge will be easier and more broad than the current one, so I want the 8 remaining contestants to REALLY give it their all. I believe in you all, without intending to be corny. This little message is more of a positive wake-up call than a lashing, I hope it comes across that way.
The results will be announced tomorrow. Everyone from #5 to #9 was extremely close. There's one contestant achieving a new peak and two contestants staying in the same place they were last week. Until tomorrow, xoxtina
Welp I definitely didn't try to be predictable I honestly feel awful about the song I sent (if y'all haven't figured that out already) and if I'm not decapitated during the results tomorrow I'll make sure I'm not Cursetina'd again
I feel so bad about saying "This was a weak round" to contestants when I know you all put in a lot of work and are very talented. However I will say my low scores were low, partly because my expectations are raised.
I was legitimately shocked too. My scores weren't bad at all, but the averages were really really low. I think there were a lot of ok entries this week, so nothing was bad enough to warrant an awful review but the scores were still meh in a round 2/3 kinda way.
I think it had to do with the fact that we all seemed to be in agreement for most of the contestants. Also I actually gave low scores which isn't normally what I do.
Where is this announcement everyone is quoting? Anyways to be fair the exact same thing happened last season where towards the end the entries got worse for a while instead of better. I found for my season at least the solution was to make the rounds harder, not easier
