It goes back to the first album conversation. She didn’t really want to put “The Outside” and “A Place In This World” on the first record. I said, “They’re so important and they’re such great songs, if you don’t put them on the first record, we’ll never get to ‘em.” And she was nice enough to go along with me on that and there’s been a couple times where she’s high-fived me. She said, “You know what? I’m glad we put these songs on this record because they made the record so real.”

i wanted that as my first tattoo, but that God i found a better lyric coz Lord knows i would have regretted "fearless" by now, and my long live lyric still my fave of all my tats all these years later

"Bring on all the pretenders, I'm not afraid" is 1000 times better than a Fearless tattoo. I have never wanted a Fearless tat, I think it's cute and meaningful, but Id rather have something a little more unique . Long Live makes for a much better tattoo . I will eventually get those lyrics on me.
