Like, sometimes I think about dropping out and using my savings to pay for a year of living in NYC or Chicago and really trying stand-up for real for real.
Then other times I think about staying on this academic track and getting my PhD.

And I mean it. Do what you think will make you happy, because everything else in life is **** and doesn't matter!
Having spent a bit of time in NYC, I can safely say that I could never live there. Too many people, too many buildings, not enough nature, a transit system so big and convoluted that I'd get lost in it.
Washington DC is cute. Small, short, historical, easily navigable.
I should listen but he has a beard and I can't listen to musicians with beards.
Just pretend it's really long hair that got in his face.

I've never been east of Arizona but would love to visit those places one day.

I went for a day trip and didn't really like it that much. I mean it was okay, but nothing really special.
