I love the album a lot. I can't sit here and pretend I've listened to 21 in full since 2011 (and even so I listened due to the success, cz I was definitely on a dance pop trip that year) to compare it to 25, but I really love the album and it's one of my faves of the year.

Like I said, the melodies are gorgeous and the album really applies to my personal life at the moment.

Also, never seen such pandemonium of this caliber. It's insane.

Finally got around to 25. First thing: This is a huge step forward. 25 is the logical progression Adele ought to have taken with 21, which is to say that this is a vision of life after the dust settles. Adele finds herself in complicated territory, stuck in the past, but not quite angry or heartbroken–or at least better equipped to to deal with such heavy emotions. Despite not being as impassioned as its predecessor, 25 is still plenty alive. Sure, the back half drops off until the final two tracks, but the record is far more consistent, and even of higher quality, than 21. If nothing else, 25 is a tremendously dynamic album. Sonically adventurous, and thematically diverse, Adele may have arrived with 21, but 25 is the album that says that she's here to stay.

It's hard to listen to the album and unbiasedly enjoy it without thinking you're only liking it due to the success, but I really rock with it. Again, it applies to my life. The nostalgia is very raw.
