Sorry's audience peak isn't suspicious or shocking. He has all of the metrics to back it up - #1 on HDS, #1 on ODS, #1 on Streaming, and amazing callout scores.
Let's sit back and think about songs that hit #1 on pop radio and barely made (or didn't make) top ten on any consumer-driven component. THAT'S suspicious.
Sorry is a huge smash.
The fact that Bieber and Sheena have all the Adele fans pressed despite everything she has achieved
Sorry deserves #1 on Pop radio and the airplay record. It's a better Pop song than Hello and easier for stations to play.

with this radio update i feel more and more safe with Hello remaining at #1 until LY takes over, which will take a while.
far from 100%, but i think it's more probable now.
question is then how many weeks?
anyway, it's exciting watch this battle unfold!
Exactly why Sheena went off on yall in the BB thread
Spending that many weeks at #2 is a big deal no matter how you try to spin it...its BIG
As I've said before, it's strange how the biggest #1s are often accompanied by unusually strong #2 songs. Uptown Funk/Thinking Out Loud is another example of this. Sorry will get an 8th week at #2 this week, while Hello gets a 9th week at #1. I wish Sorry could have gotten that other #2 week when Hotline Bling re-surged, as Beiber would have nine weeks at #2 now.
Edit: Lose Yourself/Work It is another example of having a powerful #1 and a really strong #2.

Remember Nielsen radio impressions are less inflated than Mediabase, so the gap will be smaller.
Eg; for last weeks chart, the gap was only 28m between Hello and Sorry.
