i don`t think they really assumed she is gonna fall off after their initial predictions were blown out of the water. It was pretty clear after the first 2 days that WANEGBT seems to perform very unlike Taylor´s previous releases.

I am thinking she is more likely to do 600k. Just not to get my hopes too up.

It's pretty reliable. If you look at the digital certifications of the past years: http://www.fimi.it/temp/cert_GFK_download_292012.pdf

You can see that not many tracks have reached multi platinum (60k+)
