I have to think from a manager's standpoint -
Britney's children are her first priority.
She's still under conservatory.
Her life has cooled down dramatically, would the risk of being hounded by the media again worth it all?
I say let the competition do their mediocre acts and performances first, and then come out with a stellar performance. Quality is better than quantity. What Britney needs to do is make fun of herself. She needs to remind people that she is still the same fun and bubbly girl.
