Her 2011 album, Talk That Talk, did it's recording from February - November (10 months), and was released that same month.
Her 2012 album, Unapologetic, did it's recording from June to November (6 months), and was released that month.
Rihanna is a friggin hard worker, so props to her. The fact that she can record new material, while continue to go on tour, sing songs from her current era is phenomenal.

Current consensus is that she won't be releasing an album this year. They've been taking this era a bit slower than usual.
But then again, we didn't think she'd release last year, so who really knows.....
