DRjuss06's Daily Top 25, March 11th, 2013
There's a lot of action going on in the chart today. Since i went to a party last night, the chart's Airplay is kinda all over the place with the main beneficiary is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who after jumping 10-2 yesterday, they move 2-1 to earn their first #1.
Thrift Shop becomes the first song by a due to hit the #1 spot on my chart. Previously LMFAO held the record with "Sexy And I Know It" but that song only hit #10.
Back into the chart, Will.I.Am accomplishes something rare. Some songs previously have ruled the chart to later have a 2nd life in the form of Remixes. The first of such was Katy Perry's E.T.. The "album" version spent 6 days on top in 2010 while the "Remix" version featuring Kanye West spent 15 days on top back in 2011, having two separate chart runs.
Will.I.Am's "Scream & Shout" (Remix) feat. Britney Spears, Hit Boy, Lil'Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame & Diddy thus debuts at #3. The Remix and the original are combined when it comes to Airplay and Video Plays, thus making only one version, the most popular, appear on the chart. If at any moment the regular version becomes the most popular, then the song will return to the chart and overtake the Remix, although that has never happened. Also when it comes to the year-end chart, both versions will be combined.
Lil' Wayne who also appears on the S&S Remix, debuts at #5 with "Love Me" feat. Drake & Future. Wayne usually does not chart as a lead artist and he has yet to hit #1 on my chart as a lead. The furthest he came was with "John" feat. Rick Ross which hit #3 back in 2011.
Drake also debuts another song inside the top 10 with "Started From The Bottom" which starts at #6.
Pitbull & Christina Aguilera jump 11-10, their first top 10 together. Ed Sheeran drops while Ke$ha retires from the chart with "C'mon."
Here are the previous songs/Remix to make the chart:
#1 Remixes:
-Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)- Alicia Keys feat. Drake (1 week)/ Original (#2)

DRjuss06's Daily Top 25, March 14th, 2013
Rihanna returns to #1 with "Stay." The song add yet another day to its already impressing 14 day rule on top. The song returns to the top thanks to an increase in Airplay 5-2 and an Increase in Video Plays 3-2. Bruno Mars moves 4-3 to a new peak of #3 thanks to "Gorilla" hitting #1 on Airplay, the song has no Video Plays to aid its ascend to the top but anything is possible since Rihanna's "Pour It Up" reached #1 based on Airplay alone.

DRjuss06's Daily Top 25, March 15th, 2013
Rihanna and Mikky Ekko remain on top once again but today the couple gains in Airplay although Bruno Mars remains at #1. Mars places at #3 on the strength of Airplay alone. Taylor jumps back into the Top 5 with "22" which remains at #1 on Video Plays and rises 13-8 on Airplay.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis stay put at #2 while Weezy falls 4-5. P!nk jumps 14-10 with her 15 day #1 JGMAR. The song goes back to the top 10 with the strength of increasing Airplay and Video Plays. I am actually getting into the song again, so expect more from it.
Today Rihanna's "Stay" becomes the longest-running #1 of 2013, so far. P!nk follows with 15 days on top and Ke$ha is right after with 9 days which came in courtesy of "C'mon," the song spent 3 days on top in 2012. Right behind Ke$ha is Alicia Keys who spent the first 7 days of 2013 on top with "Brand New Me" and Ludacris feat. Usher & David Guetta round out the top 5 with 5 days on top.
"Stay" is thus the 12th longest-running #1 on my chart, tied with Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" which spent the same amount of days on top last year. Of course Rihanna cannot complain about not having a song inside the top 10 since her own "Where Have You Been" is the longest-running #1 on my chart with 46 days on top.
Will "Stay" match WHYB record? Probably not. I mean anything is possible but judging by the fact that the song is #1 thanks to its video and Airplay and not standing on Airplay alone i highly doubt it will remain on top for another month in order to pass WHYB. The song might spend, who knows, 10 or more days on top but i highly doubt it. I mean today "Stay" places at #2 on Airplay and at #2 on Video Plays but thanks to my chart structure--in which i give a song 75-80% on Airplay and 20-25% on Video Plays-- the song remains on top because Macklemore places at #3 on Airplay and #3 on Video Plays, not enough to overtake it.
WHYB reigned all 46 days on Airplay alone and of course at times the song was also aided by Video Plays, but back then i awarded a song 90-95% on Airplay and 5-10% on Video Plays.
If i had the same rules in place as last year, the #1 today would've been "Gorilla" by Bruno Mars, but its Airplay is not enough to reach #1. Rihanna's own "Pour It Up" reached #1 two weeks ago only with Airplay, so i would not doubt Bruno's ability to reach the top, but this time it will be harder.
Longest-running #1s of 2013:
-Stay- Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko (16 days)
-Just Give Me A Reason- P!nk feat. Nate Ruess (15 days)
-C'mon- Ke$ha (9 days/3 in 2012)
