i relistened to AL. it's still her worst and most inconsistent and meaningless and ridiculous, but i've gotten over the fact that it's not an amazing, or even great record. once i did that, i was able to enjoy it. the shallow pop songs (more than half the album) are all very catchy and fun, and the deeper songs are good enough.
I personally think AL is one of her best works so its all good As long as people are still enjoying her music thats all good
i think it has some really high highs--for example, GYWYL, BG (sonically), HH (minus the bridge), FF, and Hush Hush. though, i'm pretty sure Hello Heartache and Hush Hush were written during GL--thematically, that's where they fit better.

Obviously(?) I was just saying they make no sense on this record. On GL, they would fit well, it it seems like AL was lacking songs with an actual deep, meaningful message, so they were thrown on the otherwise shallow, immature album. Idk, just my opinion

I doubt it. They were probably written after her breakup with Brody.
