Yep. Shay has gotten a lot better but she's still mediocre. Lucy is a blank slate, we literally know nothing about Aria except for all of her affairs. Troian I feel could be better, but the material they've been giving Spencer lately is absolutely horrid. Ashley is pretty good. She can at least laugh, cry, and be snarky and make it all seem believable.

I completely agree. Troian's acting shined throughout the first seasons, when she was the logical, the smartest of them all. But lately, they've made her character such a mess. Like, she has no idea what she is doing most of the time. Her personal life is a mess, jumping from guy to guy while still being in a 'relationship', her academic life is also a mess, as she has no idea where she stands or what she wants to do. And surprisingly, Hanna has taken over as the group's leader and choice maker.
Aria is Aria. Same girl she was in Season 1, still blabbing over Ezra, still having no clue what to do with her life, still being an absolute mess.
The only ones that had a biT of character development are Hanna and Emily. They went from silly, naive, weak girls to strong and independent woman.
But they somehow still remain idiotic and clumsy. But that is all Marlene's fault. She is doing her cast so wrong with these characters and the childish writing.
And yeah, Sasha is the only good actress on the show. She has been consistent throughout the entire show. And she truly shined during the last 2 seasons when she was given more material to work with. I see a great career ahead of her
