Perfect was 35% behind and in next update it took a lead of 50% over HB. Such things normally happens when a track is an insta grat and when Itunes count Insta grat sales.

No, they won't be counted for Hot 100. Only individual sales count for Hot 100

If we take "Infinity" as a precedent then they wont count for the Hot 100 and it is the same situation.

I would guess it's because the song is in it's first week and you can completely substract those sales without effecting the wrong week. But that's just a guess.

It dd not affect SIO because insta grats counted on Hot 100 back then. They changed that rule when OOTW was released

But one last thing - Do they count this week though because it's release week? I thought if the song and album preorder was released the same week, they could count for the Hot 100?

I could have sworn that when The Weeknd's album came out, the "Complete The Album" feature didn't subtract Hot 100 points from Can't Feel My Face and The Hills - they just subtracted from the HDS chart. So why are people saying that the sales for Hello won't count towards the Hot 100 if people used Complete The Album afterwards?

Yeah, it definitely still counts for points. I don't think anyone knows what Billboard's current policy is. They aren't keeping Adele from debuting #1 though, that's for sure.

We will get the clearer idea on Hot 100 next week. I don't think they are counted though

Yeah I think so too, that's why I think there is a difference between songs in the first week like "Infinity" and now "Hello" and older songs like "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" back then.

You can't substract the sales from older songs completely. If they buy it and than hit complete my album 5 weeks later it would'nt make sense to count that as a negative sale then. It would make sense to count it as a negative sale 5 weeks earlier, but that chart is already done and archived.

Complete my album and insta grats are different though. Adele Hello is an insta grat and going by Billboard rules, only its individual sales will count towards Hot 100 points
