So I think Miley killed it. She was entertaining about brought a bag full of mess. The trippy aesthetics worked pretty well too. The biggest problem were the performers. Yes, they were all talented but none of them gave something memorable.

In a perfect scenario some of the people in the line-up could have played in the outside venue while 3 major players took the main stage (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, or Gaga). The show seemed to be missing some veterans too.

With the show filled with gimmicks, it would have been to see some balance as the performers should have helped carry the show.

Overall not as bad as some people claim, but it lacked super star performances.
