I want her to release some tracks before the album, it's more special when we can focus all our attention on one single song. That's why I prefer japanese way of releasing, first the singles and the album last. You get time to appreciate each song for a while, then you get to appreciate the rest of the songs on the album and finally the whole album together

I'm really not feeling this albums "no filter" ethestic or sonic vision. To be completely honest this whole thing seems more contrived and half assed than ARTPOP. �� At least ARTPOP was colorful and fun at times sh*t this seems bland and super adult contemporary. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong but by the looks of the line up of contributors Beck (Scientology Freak) and Florence (Human Praying Mantis) this looks like a train wreck. Not to mention having the underwhelming lead singles producer take charge of a large majority of the albums sound FACE PALM.

Hopefully I'll be able to salvage at least 5 decent songs from this album...

I'm excited for the ballads most, tbh. I'm probably in the minority, but i love ballads and slow music in general, so "Joanne," and "Angel down."

i'm also really excited for "just another day" I've decided in my mind what it will sound like (I'd LOVE if it somehow had a cool, 60s NYC jazz vibe)

sidenote: does anyone know the specific subgenre of what 60's jazz is called? i find it hard to describe--it has a fairly chill, maybe even somber tone, kind of lounge'y (think the soundtrack to rosemary's baby)

Also, for some reason i'm least excited for "John wayne"--i keep feeling like its going to sound like rihanna's "desperado."
