Tell me about it. People these days are morons. I also think the reason why this is not climbing up anymore is because it does not have a banner. It is receiving literally no visible aide for inform peple that the song is out. Triumphant had a banner when it was released.
I'm kind of upset because since Almost Home is first alphabetically in my iTunes for Mariah, its cover shows up as my Mariah icon and she's not on it. I still like the cover though.
Regarding "Almost Home"... I'm glad MC stepped her game up. The song is something unexpected. Well, taking into account her previous single "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" was too urban for pop boys. She did it again. She can do pop, R&B, hip-hop, whatever. She is a chameleon and she doesn't stop evolving.
I still don't care about this release and I wish it was the real lead single. But I respect this decision. Disney invited MC and it's business after all.

Mmm, it's a soundtrack single. Soundtrack singles can turn into monster hits sometimes, but they are not meant to be a commercial success. They are just a promotional tool. I hope it does well, though.
Because, let's be honest, Almost Home is probably the biggest chance Mariah has of scoring another hit.
